Fall/Winter photoshoot, Part 1 | Lookbook Outfit #11 'Live fast. Die young. Be wild. Have fun.'

Hey everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting anything the last few weeks. It's just that we had a test week, and after the test week was over and I could finally get some rest, Christmas started, so I was kinda busy. (And I think you guys were busy too ) However, from now on I'll be posting 2 posts again every weekend, and as we have holidays, I might even post more :).

Last month, I told you guys that my best friend and I did a little photoshoot consisting of 6 outfits and I showed you a little preview. I'm showing you the photoshoot in 6 parts - in every part I will describe one outfit, which has also been posted on Lookbook. The difference between these posts and other outfit posts is that in these posts I will show you some more pictures. I really hope you like every outfit and I hope you enjoy watching the pictures!

Lately, a lot of stores have been selling printed leggings. I'm totally in love with printed leggings, and I bought this one with citylights on them. However, it might be too cold to wear leggings in winter so I wore a knitted dip-dye sweater with the leggings. To make the look a bit more edgy I wore my black leather boots and just one accessory: a silver necklace.

Necklace | Primark
Dip-dye cable jumper | Topshop
Printed leggings | Primark Limited Edition
Black leather boots | Unkown

Lots of love,
Sanne

Review: Primark Nail Wraps

Hey everyone!

Today I decided to try Primark's nail wraps, because christmas is coming and they are very sparkly and contain a lot of different colours, so they would fit with most of my outfits. I bought them in London two months ago, for only £1.

I started with shaping my nails, pushing back the cuticles and lightly buffed my nails to even the surface. Then I used some nail polish remover to clean my nails. So, step one is to choose the best size foil for each nail, and if needed, you should cut little pieces of it to make sure it fits your nail. Then you should warm the strip a bit by rubbing, and then peel it off and apply it to the nail. The rounded edge should be close to the cuticle. Then you should use a file to remove excess, and then you're done!

So while making some pictures and uploading them and while typing this, the edges already start to release and on some nails the nail wraps even start chipping away. I just know that when I wake up tomorrow, these nail wraps will sticking in my hair. But as they were only £1, I didn't expect much from these nail wraps.

They look really cute, but if you plan on buying them, I wouldn't do it if I were you.

New in - Week 48

Sometimes all you really need to cheer up a bit is some NEW clothes and accessories. A test week is coming next week, in which we have to do 11 tests, which is really depressing. So guess what? My friends and I needed something to cheer us all up so we went shopping last week. What's better than buying stuff you don't really need but makes you happy? Nothing, really.

"Whoever said money can't buy happiness, simply didn't know where to go shopping" - Bo Derek

So, first this beautiful multi-coloured ring. One of my friends was searching for a bag at Mango, and when we went to the accessories part, this ring immediately caught my eye. I love the different colours which make the ring easy to wear with a lot of different items. Even better, it was on sale for only 3 euros!

My friends and I decided to buy gifts for eachother, so we all had to buy a gift for one us, and we would unwrap them together that evening. My best friend Veerle bought this ring by Bershka for me, which is very smart, because I recently lost my cross ring, and this one is even prettier! Thanks Veerle! ♥

I've been really obsessed with coloured lip balms lately. At my age I think it's better to wear a coloured lip balm to school, because it's less bright, and they take care of your lips as well. So I bought this one at Hema (a Dutch store) , because I had read about this on some beauty blogs and everyone was very positive about it.

You might know I really love peplum. I bought a peplum dress in London, but I really wanted a peplum skirt because it's easier to make more outfits with a skirt. So I found this one at Bershka, which I think has a really cute colour and I just love the golden zipper. (I love little details!)

In London I bought a printed legging (click here for the shoplog) and I only had one sweater to wear with it that actually matched, so I wanted a longer black top so that I could wear it with more different items. I found this one at Bershka. It has cute little mirrors on it and the back is longer and transparent.

Oh my god. Don't you just feel really happy when you look at these shoes? Don't worry, I'm not going to wear this to school. I bought these for a photoshoot my friend and I will be doing in a few weeks, and I might as well wear them to parties. (: I bought them at a really cheap store and all of my friends bought a pair of heels too, just because they were so pretty!

Last but not least, I bought these dark blue gloves with cute little bows on them.

That's it! I really hope you liked everything and I would appreciate it if you'd leave a comment and tell me which one's your favourite! Thanks for reading,

Xoxo

Chloe Jade Green

When checking my Facebook today, I came across Topshop's Facebook page. They had just posted something about Chloe Jade Green. so I took a look at the links, did some research and I just knew I had to show you guys.

'Chloe has always loved fashion – from experimenting with her mother’s wardrobe as a child to sitting on the front rows at some of the biggest and best catwalk shows around the world. Creating a collection is something Chloe has always aspired to do and May 2012 saw the launch of her brand; CJG and debut collection of shoes.'

So since yesterday, Topshop is actually selling CJG's shoes. There's a lot of variety in the collection: from biker boots to dainty ballerina flats. The suedes and studs mix a girly style with an element of rock. Here are some of my favourites:

Don't you just love these boots? They are so easy to wear with a lot of outfits and I must say, I would love to own a pair of these. Plus they are 100% leather!
- Black Lily Biker Boots by CJG, € 195,00, Topshop

A pair of stunning suede ankle boots with a platform and golden studs. I love them so much. On this picture you can also see Chloe's signature green "Charms" sole.
- Shadow Bolt Ankle Boots by CJG, € 215,00, Topshop

To me, wedges are the most comfortable kind of heels, and I just immediately fell in love with these. They are made of black suede and have Chloe's "Charms" print on the wedge heels.
- Thunder Lace Wedge Courts by CJG, € 169,00, Topshop

Normally I'm not really keen on knee-high boots, but to be honest, these boots take my breath away. These are leather boots with some suede details and a wedge. I'm in love.
- Winters Knight Wedge Boots by CJG, € 254,00, Topshop

So, what do you think? Are you in love with these shoes as much as I am?
For the total collection at Topshop, click here and for more information you can click here to go to CJG's website.

Today's Outfit: 14th of November (Lookbook Outfit #15: 'Done my hair up real big beauty queen style')

Dear followers,
Today I wanted to create a new outfit, something that matched the vintage-like earrings I bought in London (Forever 21).

The thing I definitely wanted  to wear was this white blouse (Primark), which you can button up totally so that you get a cute collar. The earrings have a very light pink colour, so what I wanted to do is match them with some pastel shades, like my mint green blazer (Zara) and my studded boots (Zara). I didn't think dark blue jeans would look nice with these pastel shades, so I chose this light coloured jeans (Zara), which (for me) are perfect for this look.

To finish off the look I used a donut bun for my hair (Primark) and a winged eyeliner, as usual.

I really hope you like the outfit. Please leave a comment below and don't forget to follow my blog!

Lookbook Outfit #10 'I sing the body electric'

Hey guys!

Today I'm showing you my 10th look for Lookbook. When thinking of a new outfit, including the Gaga sweater I bought at the Born This Way Ball, the first thing I looked at were the colours you can find in the sweater. This is what I created.

My favourite dress by Topshop happened to be a perfect match with my Gaga sweater, because the green-ish colour is in the sweater and it looks great with the purple you can find in the sweater too. I wore the sweater over the dress, so that it looked like I had just bought a new skirt. (: I just paired this with black tights by Topshop and black boots which are actually my mother's. Last but not least, the only accessory the outfit actually needed was the wristband of the Monster Pit, the one I got at the BTW Ball.

Once again, thanks a lot for reading and don't forget to leave a comment and follow my blog! I would really appreciate that.

The Little Black Jacket by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfield

"There are clothes which keep rejuvenating themselves instead of getting worn out" - Roberto Juarroz

During my trip to London, my parents and I went to Saatchi Gallery. I was so lucky, because The Little Black Jacket exhibition by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfield had just started!

It's a photographic exhibition dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld's latest book, 'The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld'. In this exhibition you can experience the versatility and timelessness of Chanel's Little Black Jacket. The exhibition consists of 113 photographs by Karl Lagerfeld, and they are all pictures friends of the House, all wearing the jacket in a different way.

Freja Beha Erichsen

Vanessa Paradis

Anna Wintour

The exhibition has already been in Tokyo, New York, Talpei and Hong Kong, and if you're still interested you can find it in London, Moscow and Sidney. The last two exhibitions, starting in November, are in Paris and Berlin.

I have to tell you, I absolutely loved it and I was so impressed. I loved each and every picture. For more information: http://thelittleblackjacket.chanel.com/

Lookbook Outfit #9 'I wanted to get out of here, but every time I reappear'

Hello lovely readers,

This is my 9th look for Lookbook. I created this look a few weeks before we went to London, and I just felt like I had nothing left to wear. My mother just bought a new sweater and I was totally in love with it, and after begging my mother for days, she finally let me wear it! In my head I had already painted a picture of what I wanted to wear it with. Even though the sweater is like 2 sizes too big, I think it's okay when a sweater doesn't fit perfectly, and after all, oversized sweaters are never wrong!

It's a dark blue sweater by Zara, with sequins in all kinds of colours knitted into it, which makes it easy to wear it with a lot of different colours. However, I wanted to wear a blouse with a cute collar underneath the sweater because I think that it looks super cute, plus layering is very smart in fall and winter to keep yourself warm. So I chose this white blouse by Primark. For a little more colour I wore my Topshop Moto jeans in the colour Wine. I paired this with some heeled boots by H&M, and because I didn't want it to become a very dark look, I chose to take a brown H&M bag with me. No jewelry for me today, because you have to remember, sometimes less is more.

Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think!

Lookbook Outfit #8 'You fit me better than my favourite sweater'

Hey guys!

I'm sorry for not posting last week, but I was in LONDON! I'm gonna post everything I bought later tonight to show you guys everything.

Now it's time for one of my looks for Lookbook. This is the sweater (H&M) you can find in this post. It is a very warm and comfortable sweater, but it's very baggy, so I paired it with a black bodycon skirt (by ?) and my favourite tights by V&D. Because there's a little bit of silver thread in the sweater, I chose this necklace by Primark and last but not least, I put on my favourite booties by Topshop.

I hope you guys liked this look. What do you think?

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball Tour - Review and outfits

Last week - 29th of September, 2012 - I went to Gaga's Born This Way Ball in the Sportpaleis at Antwerp. My friend Marc and I arrived there just before 10 am and got into the Monster Pit line. (What is the Monster Pit? There's a catwalk attached to the stage, and the space between the catwalk and the stage is called the monster pit. If you arrive early you might get into the pit with a lot of other dedicated monsters, plus you're really close to the stage). We waited there all day, met some other dedicated fans we knew from twitter and by 5:15 pm, it was time to go inside! First there were two opening acts, Gaga's friend Lady Starlight and the British band The Darkness. A little after 8:40 pm Gaga's show started. This experience was so intense. Gaga is really beautiful and her voice is so pure, she can dance so well and her style and passion amaze me.

Today I'll be showing you which outfits Gaga had on during the show I saw - 29092012 - so there might be some different outfits in other shows. I really hope you like seeing them. Enjoy!

Outfit 1
Intro - Highway Unicorn (Road to love) - Government Hooker

As the song Highway Unicorn starts playing, Gaga comes in riding a fake unicorn. Gaga's dancers - dressed as soldiers  -  are walking in front of her and behind her. They are wearing outfits by Void of Course. Three of them are carrying guns, the remaining dancers are carrying flags with G.O.A.T. on it. (See the Born This Way video to understand what G.O.A.T. is). Gaga herself is wearing an outfit by Armani Privé, which you can see on the sketch below.

Outfit 2
Born This Way

During Born This Way, Gaga and her dancers are wearing translucent pale yellow latex outfits. During this song I really felt like Gaga saw me: she looked me in the eyes and pointed her finger at me. Anyway, Gaga is wearing an outfit by Armani Privé which you can see on the sketch below, and her dancers are wearing outfits by Perry Meek for the Haus of Gaga.

Outfit 3
Black Jesus  Amen Fashion

During Black Jesus † Amen Fashion, Gaga is wearing another translucent pale yellow latex outfit by TBA (Hat by unknown) and her dancers are still wearing the same outfit as during Born This Way.

Outfit 4
Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary starts playing and Gaga skates over the catwalk surrounding the Monster Pit. She is wearing a dress by Perry Meek for the Haus of Gaga, a helmet by Salvatore Salamone and a jacket by Tex Saverio. Her dancers are wearing similar white outfits.

Outfit 5
Bad Romance - Judas

At the beginning of Bad Romance, Gaga comes out of an egg - we call it a 'Vessel' - wearing a mask, dress and shoes by Brandon Maxwell with the Void of course. Her dancers wear jackets by the same designer. She performs Judas wearing the same outfit.

Outfit 6
Fashion of His Love - Just Dance

This is one of my favourite performances of the show. The castle opens and you can see different rooms, which I think are really cute. One with a boudoir, one is a bedroom, one with a clothing rack and so on. Every show there are different pieces of clothing hanging in the rack, they are all previously worn outfits from 2008 to 2012. At the 29th of September, the pieces of clothing were the Kermit the frog dress by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the oversized purple jacket with a golden cross on the back, which was worn at the intro of the Monster Ball, by Muto-Little Costumes, a faux fur coat (designer unknown), the original white Origami dress by Haus of Gaga and the Spiked mirror outfit by Armani Privé. During the performance she is wearing a pink "origami crane" dress by Christian Dada.

Outfit 7
LoveGame - Telephone

The performance of LoveGame begins with Gaga appearing with a capsule on the runway. She is wearing a crown that resembles the headpiece of the Statue of Liberty. The crown, top, skirt and boots are by Atelier Versace. The dancers are all wearing outfits by Atelier Versace, too. When she starts performing Telephone, you can see her wearing a bodysuit underneath the skirt, by Void of Course.

Outfit 8
Heavy Metal Lover - Bad Kids - Hair - Yoü and I - Electric Chapel

During Heavy Metal Lover, Gaga drives across the runway with a motorcycle, then she performs Bad Kids. When she has performed these two songs, she plays Hair and You and I on a keyboard which is attached to the motorcycle. Then she starts performing Electric Chapel. She plays the electric guitar and to her left and right there are two translucent boxes which are lighting up, showing Gaga's two guitarists. The lights are so spectacular during Electric Chapel, it was amazing. During all these songs, Gaga was wearing a Jumpsuit by Atelier Versace.

Outfit 9
Americano - Poker Face

The intro of the song starts playing and Gaga is dancing around a meat rack, wearing a meat dress. (Not a real one this time!) In the September 2012 issue of Vogue, she said : “We were talking about putting the show together, And I said, OK, what if I was someone’s grandma and I was going to a concert tonight. How would I know that it was a Gaga show? And we all just sort of looked at each other and said, ‘The meat dress.’ We talked a lot about the original intention, which was to create an outfit that is indicative of the fact that underneath all of our different skin colors and religions and beliefs, we are all made of flesh and bone."   Then she performs Poker Face in the same dress. This bodysuit and skirt are designed by Perry Meek  X Haus of Gaga, and the dancers are wearing meat bikini's by Perry Meek.

Outfit 10
Alejandro

Gaga comes on stage on a meat sofa and starts singing Alejandro. She is wearing a gun bra by Perry Meek X Haus of Gaga and pants (which I adore!) by Haus of Gaga.

Outfit 11
Paparazzi - Scheiße

At the end of Paparazzi, Gaga comes on stage wearing a black outfit, designer unknown. Then she starts singing Scheiße, which caused such a party in the Monster Pit!

Outfit 12
The Edge of Glory - Marry the Night

First, Gaga starts playing The Edge of Glory on the piano wearing a silk satin skeleton print robe, by Atelier Verscace. After that, she performs the studio version of The Edge of Glory and Marry the Night, which is the last song of the night. During the studio version of TEOG and MTN, she is wearing a leather top, shorts and a jacket by Atelier Versace.

She also took some fans on stage, which was a wonderful moment.

Thank you all so much for reading this post. I'm really happy to share this experience with you guys. I still can't believe I have been to the Born This Way Ball, and even saw it from the Monster Pit. It was such a wonderful thing, being there with all my fellow monsters. See you next week,
