New in - Week 48

Sometimes all you really need to cheer up a bit is some NEW clothes and accessories. A test week is coming next week, in which we have to do 11 tests, which is really depressing. So guess what? My friends and I needed something to cheer us all up so we went shopping last week. What's better than buying stuff you don't really need but makes you happy? Nothing, really.

"Whoever said money can't buy happiness, simply didn't know where to go shopping" - Bo Derek

So, first this beautiful multi-coloured ring. One of my friends was searching for a bag at Mango, and when we went to the accessories part, this ring immediately caught my eye. I love the different colours which make the ring easy to wear with a lot of different items. Even better, it was on sale for only 3 euros!

My friends and I decided to buy gifts for eachother, so we all had to buy a gift for one us, and we would unwrap them together that evening. My best friend Veerle bought this ring by Bershka for me, which is very smart, because I recently lost my cross ring, and this one is even prettier! Thanks Veerle! ♥

I've been really obsessed with coloured lip balms lately. At my age I think it's better to wear a coloured lip balm to school, because it's less bright, and they take care of your lips as well. So I bought this one at Hema (a Dutch store) , because I had read about this on some beauty blogs and everyone was very positive about it.

You might know I really love peplum. I bought a peplum dress in London, but I really wanted a peplum skirt because it's easier to make more outfits with a skirt. So I found this one at Bershka, which I think has a really cute colour and I just love the golden zipper. (I love little details!)

In London I bought a printed legging (click here for the shoplog) and I only had one sweater to wear with it that actually matched, so I wanted a longer black top so that I could wear it with more different items. I found this one at Bershka. It has cute little mirrors on it and the back is longer and transparent.

Oh my god. Don't you just feel really happy when you look at these shoes? Don't worry, I'm not going to wear this to school. I bought these for a photoshoot my friend and I will be doing in a few weeks, and I might as well wear them to parties. (: I bought them at a really cheap store and all of my friends bought a pair of heels too, just because they were so pretty!

Last but not least, I bought these dark blue gloves with cute little bows on them.

That's it! I really hope you liked everything and I would appreciate it if you'd leave a comment and tell me which one's your favourite! Thanks for reading,

Xoxo

Chloe Jade Green

When checking my Facebook today, I came across Topshop's Facebook page. They had just posted something about Chloe Jade Green. so I took a look at the links, did some research and I just knew I had to show you guys.

'Chloe has always loved fashion – from experimenting with her mother’s wardrobe as a child to sitting on the front rows at some of the biggest and best catwalk shows around the world. Creating a collection is something Chloe has always aspired to do and May 2012 saw the launch of her brand; CJG and debut collection of shoes.'

So since yesterday, Topshop is actually selling CJG's shoes. There's a lot of variety in the collection: from biker boots to dainty ballerina flats. The suedes and studs mix a girly style with an element of rock. Here are some of my favourites:

Don't you just love these boots? They are so easy to wear with a lot of outfits and I must say, I would love to own a pair of these. Plus they are 100% leather!
- Black Lily Biker Boots by CJG, € 195,00, Topshop

A pair of stunning suede ankle boots with a platform and golden studs. I love them so much. On this picture you can also see Chloe's signature green "Charms" sole.
- Shadow Bolt Ankle Boots by CJG, € 215,00, Topshop

To me, wedges are the most comfortable kind of heels, and I just immediately fell in love with these. They are made of black suede and have Chloe's "Charms" print on the wedge heels.
- Thunder Lace Wedge Courts by CJG, € 169,00, Topshop

Normally I'm not really keen on knee-high boots, but to be honest, these boots take my breath away. These are leather boots with some suede details and a wedge. I'm in love.
- Winters Knight Wedge Boots by CJG, € 254,00, Topshop

So, what do you think? Are you in love with these shoes as much as I am?

Today's Outfit: 14th of November (Lookbook Outfit #15: 'Done my hair up real big beauty queen style')

Dear followers,
Today I wanted to create a new outfit, something that matched the vintage-like earrings I bought in London (Forever 21).

The thing I definitely wanted  to wear was this white blouse (Primark), which you can button up totally so that you get a cute collar. The earrings have a very light pink colour, so what I wanted to do is match them with some pastel shades, like my mint green blazer (Zara) and my studded boots (Zara). I didn't think dark blue jeans would look nice with these pastel shades, so I chose this light coloured jeans (Zara), which (for me) are perfect for this look.

To finish off the look I used a donut bun for my hair (Primark) and a winged eyeliner, as usual.

I really hope you like the outfit. Please leave a comment below and don't forget to follow my blog!

Lookbook Outfit #10 'I sing the body electric'

Hey guys!

Today I'm showing you my 10th look for Lookbook. When thinking of a new outfit, including the Gaga sweater I bought at the Born This Way Ball, the first thing I looked at were the colours you can find in the sweater. This is what I created.

My favourite dress by Topshop happened to be a perfect match with my Gaga sweater, because the green-ish colour is in the sweater and it looks great with the purple you can find in the sweater too. I wore the sweater over the dress, so that it looked like I had just bought a new skirt. (: I just paired this with black tights by Topshop and black boots which are actually my mother's. Last but not least, the only accessory the outfit actually needed was the wristband of the Monster Pit, the one I got at the BTW Ball.

Once again, thanks a lot for reading and don't forget to leave a comment and follow my blog! I would really appreciate that.

The Little Black Jacket by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfield

"There are clothes which keep rejuvenating themselves instead of getting worn out" - Roberto Juarroz

During my trip to London, my parents and I went to Saatchi Gallery. I was so lucky, because The Little Black Jacket exhibition by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfield had just started!

It's a photographic exhibition dedicated to Karl Lagerfeld's latest book, 'The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld'. In this exhibition you can experience the versatility and timelessness of Chanel's Little Black Jacket. The exhibition consists of 113 photographs by Karl Lagerfeld, and they are all pictures friends of the House, all wearing the jacket in a different way.

Freja Beha Erichsen

Vanessa Paradis

Anna Wintour

The exhibition has already been in Tokyo, New York, Talpei and Hong Kong, and if you're still interested you can find it in London, Moscow and Sidney. The last two exhibitions, starting in November, are in Paris and Berlin.

I have to tell you, I absolutely loved it and I was so impressed. I loved each and every picture. For more information: http://thelittleblackjacket.chanel.com/

Lookbook Outfit #9 'I wanted to get out of here, but every time I reappear'

Hello lovely readers,

This is my 9th look for Lookbook. I created this look a few weeks before we went to London, and I just felt like I had nothing left to wear. My mother just bought a new sweater and I was totally in love with it, and after begging my mother for days, she finally let me wear it! In my head I had already painted a picture of what I wanted to wear it with. Even though the sweater is like 2 sizes too big, I think it's okay when a sweater doesn't fit perfectly, and after all, oversized sweaters are never wrong!

It's a dark blue sweater by Zara, with sequins in all kinds of colours knitted into it, which makes it easy to wear it with a lot of different colours. However, I wanted to wear a blouse with a cute collar underneath the sweater because I think that it looks super cute, plus layering is very smart in fall and winter to keep yourself warm. So I chose this white blouse by Primark. For a little more colour I wore my Topshop Moto jeans in the colour Wine. I paired this with some heeled boots by H&M, and because I didn't want it to become a very dark look, I chose to take a brown H&M bag with me. No jewelry for me today, because you have to remember, sometimes less is more.

Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think!
