Lana Del Rey for H&M

Elizabeth Grant, a.k.a Lana Del Rey has graced the cover of Vogue, inspired a best-selling Mulberry handbag and been portrayed by top photographers. Yet, just two years ago, nobody knew who this American singer/songwriter was. On 1 July 2011, a sweet, melancholic clip set to a sad song about passionate love entitled Video Games landed on YouTube. Lana edited the pictures of old Hollywood and herself singing herself, and it soon became a huge success. Now she's the star of H&M's latest campaign.

The campaign is shot by the Dutch fashion duo Inez van Lamsweerde and her husband Vinoodh Matadin, who have also been shooting artists like Lady Gaga and Björk. The collection is inspired by the sixties and contains a lot of pastel shades, but also burgundy, mint, white and even some floral prints. There are a lot of comfortable sweaters, cute peplums and huge vintage-looking earrings, which is why I am totally in love with this collection.

Xoxo Sanne ♥
