My nail polish collection

Dear reader,
Today I will be showing you my nail polish collection/stash. I think the colour of your nails is a really important part of your outfit and according to Lady Gaga , "Having a perfect manicure instantly makes you feel beautiful and clean", and "it boosts your self-esteem everyday."  You're going to see 71 of my polishes, and I will update my collection in a few months. Actually a few of them are my mother's, because we share our nail polish. I hope you enjoy reading this!

So, on the first picture we have Essence nail polishes, which I think everybody knows. They are cheap, kind of good quality and they have a lot of different colours. The colours you can find on here (from left to right) are:
79 Viva la green; 53 You belong to me; 35 Movie star; 96 Sparkling water lily; 39 Lime up!; 07 Café olé; Fruity collection - 02 Peach beauty; 76 Cool and the gang; 04 Mr. Big; 08 Night in vegas; 11 Disco disco; 09 Mysterious black (nail art)

08 Night in vegas and 11 Disco disco are 'Nail art special effect toppers'. To show you I applied them over the polish I was already wearing. (489 Rose insolent, Chanel)

Up next are my H&M nail polishes. Again, everybody knows H&M and their polishes are very budget-proof. The polishes on the first picture were in a 4-pack when I bought them, it were colours for spring 2011, I think. From left to right; Grey, Coral, Light purple and Dark purple.

The polishes on the second picture were in a 3-pack and I bought them last winter. From left to right; Pink me up, Dark hot red and Beigie.

On the 4th picture you can see polishes I randomly bought. There are 2 of them that look almost the same, and that's because I first bought a little bottle of it, and I loved it so much that I bought a bigger version that looked a lot like it. From left to right; Taupe, Dazzling Jade, No Mambo Jambo and Midnight Passion.

These are Catrice Cosmetics polishes, which is also a very well known low budget brand. (In the Netherlands at least)
From left to right; 700 Birdy Reloaded!; 04 Exotica; 250 I Sea You!; 590 Jade Is Not My Name; 790 The Pinky And The Brain; 070 Caught On The Red Carpet; 220 Lost In Mud; 650 Goldfinger.

I bought these BEAUTIFUL polishes this summer, when I was in Como, Italy, in the MI-NY store. I have never seen a whole store with only nail polishes and nail care products before. It was quite a wonderful expierence for me, and I bought 4 bottles of nail polish. Even better, they were only €2,90(!!!) and they are really, really long lasting. These definetly belong to my favourite nail polishes. From left to right: Degas, Tamptation, Rockabilly and Deep blue.

These two nail polishes are from P2, which is dm's own brand. (You could call the 'dm' the German 'Boots'). These were also really cheap, only. €1,55. I actually bought them for autumn and winter and I didn't use them yet, so I can tell you guys later on if this is good and longlasting nail polish. From left to right; 601 Good luck!; 051 Live the moment!

These are two KOH polishes. From left to right: 254 Love Passionately!; 215 Pink Matters!

These are two really cute NYC colours, which are also very low budget products. From left to right: 257 Lavender Cupcake (favourite!); 236 Greenwich Village.

These are 4 bottles of 'pieces' nail polishes. From left to right: Nude, Peach, Bermuda Green and Ash Purple.

On this picture you can see 2 nail polishes by 'Mavala', which my mom actually bought. From left to right: 65 Adelaide; 74 Los Angeles.

These two are Italian nail polishes by Deborah Milano. I bought these with my mom last year when we were in Italy because I forgot my own nail polish. From left to right: 12 Flirty Femininity; 23 It's Evergreen.

The first two nail polishes on this picture are L'oreal Paris 'Color riche le vernis' polishes, which my best friends gave me for my birthday. The third polish on the picture, also by L'oreal Paris, is one that my uncle gave me for christmas two years ago, but I never really used this because I'm not that into this shiny, light pink colour. Anyway, I kept it because I might like it in a few months and because it's actually really sweet my uncle gave this to me. From left to right: 101 Opera Ballerina; 601 French Riviera; 103 (no name).

These 3 polishes are from Hema, which is a Dutch store. From left to right: 205; 210; 79.

These 2 little bottles of nail polish and 2 stripers are from Etos, which is also a Dutch store. The first one was a present from my grandma and the second one from one of my mother's friends. From left to right: Silver star; (no name or number); 003; 004.

I bought these two nail polishes by Miss Sporty for a nail art design. From left to right: 62; 23.

These are the two most expensive nail polishes I have ever bought! A little while ago I was really obsessed with Chanel (I still am, but just a little less) and I really wanted to have these Chanel polishes. It cost me a lot of money. I have to say it was really worth the money, but after I used it a few times it started chipping away very soon. I wouldn't spend so much money on nail polish now, except if it's a really special colour. From left to right: 515 Pêche Nacrée; 489 Rose Insolent.

These are nail polishes from some mixed brands. Some are my mom's, some are mine. From left to right: French Beige; 47, Shock, Made in Italy; Orange from Beauty by Fancy; 73 Kingston, W.I.C by Herôme; 369 Green Racing Drag, Anny; 610 Pompous, Rimmel London.

And last, but DEFINITELY not least, the base and top coat I'm currently using. The base coat I'm using is the P2 Base + Care coat (from the German 'Boots', remember?) and the top coat I'm using is the Essence quick dry topcoat. I think it's really, really important to use a base coat to protect your natural nails, so I never do my nails without using a basecoat. I only use the top coat when I do nail art designs on my nails.

Well, this was everything you needed to see and know about my nail polish stash. I really hope you enjoyed reading the description and/or watching the pictures, please leave a comment about what's your favourite colour. Thanks a lot for reading and I'll see you next week! (:

Blueberry Kisses,
Sanne ♥

Lookbook Outfit #1 'Floral girl'

Dear followers,

I know I haven't been writing on my blog for a long time, and I know that I say this all the time, but from now on, things are gonna change. Even though school started again, I'm going to do two posts every weekend. One of them will be an outfit I created for http://lookbook.nu/ , and the other one will be another random post. In holidays I might post on other days because I have more time. I hope this blog will have more readers when I start doing this, because I really like writing and fashion.

So, about my first look for lookbook. I wanted to create a really colourful and 'happy' look, so I mixed a lot of colours. It's a skirt by River Island, which is lace and a kind of minty colour, which I really like. The top is by Primark, and I think it has a really cute detail, which is the orange zipper on the back. I bought the necklace at Forever 21 and the wedges at New Look. The nail polish that you can see on the left hand side is from Catrice cosmetics' limited edition 'Coolibri' collection, 04 'Exotica'.

This was my first look. I really hope you like it, and I'd like to know if you do, so please leave a comment below. I'd really appreciate that (: Later today I will be posting my nail polish collection!

Xoxo Sanne ♥
